    This is the single most useful lens for thinking about your home. Not "is this chemical scary," but "how much of it am I exposed to, and how often."

    And it leads to a genuinely practical conclusion: reducing unnecessary exposure reduces the cumulative burden your liver carries. Small improvements, repeated daily, often matter more than dramatic changes made once and forgotten.


    The Input You Can Actually Control

    Here is the uncomfortable truth about that list. Most of it is only partly in your hands.

    You cannot fully control the air outside your window, the medications you genuinely need, your genetics, or a hepatitis exposure from decades ago. You can manage them, but you cannot eliminate them.
